2. What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, company, country, phone/WhatsApp number, email address, the machine and specification you ask about, and any budget or timeline you share — when you request a quote, subscribe to updates, or message us.
- Messages you send us: when you message our Facebook Page, Instagram account, WhatsApp number, YouTube or TikTok channel, we receive that message and your account name.
- Technical information: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and the cookies needed for this website to work.
We do not collect payment card details on this website.
3. How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
- To arrange factory visits, inspection, packing and shipping with your agreement.
- To send you updates you asked for (for example our weekly WhatsApp note). You can opt out at any time.
- To keep records, prevent abuse, and improve this website.
We do not use your messages or personal data for advertising, and we never sell personal data.
4. Who we share it with
- Factories, inspection partners and freight forwarders — only what is needed to quote or deliver your enquiry.
- Service providers that run our website and messaging tools (for example Cloudflare for hosting, Meta Platforms for Facebook and Instagram, Google, TikTok), under their own privacy terms.
5. Messaging platforms
When you contact us through Facebook Messenger or Instagram, your message is delivered to us through Meta’s Platform APIs. We use it only to reply to you and to keep a record of your enquiry. We do not add you to advertising audiences from that data.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry and order records are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them earlier or the law requires a longer period.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for updates. Write to info@davidpengsourcing.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the website work. If we use analytics, you can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
